'CliffHollow' was born from a vision: to introduce authentic Neapolitan pizza to Rome. Established by the Rossi family in 1985, our pizza place began as a quaint, family-managed diner, using recipes that have been in the family for many years.
The founder of 'CliffHollow', Marco Rossi, acquired the craft of pizza creation on her journeys across Italy, particularly learning from highly skilled pizza chefs in Naples, the cradle of pizza. When she returned to the UK, her goal was to replicate the essence of traditional Italian pizza, sticking to age-old techniques and the purest ingredients.
Initially starting with only 12-seats, our pizzeria has expanded and become a community favorite, yet our pledge to excellence and tradition stands firm. We persist in applying the techniques of wood-fired oven baking, our dough is made from scratch every day, and we choose only top-grade ingredients.
Even now, 'CliffHollow' is family-owned and the Rossi's second generation carries on the legacy with our dedicated team. We've integrated some contemporary improvements, but our foundation remains anchored in making delectable, true pizza that unites our patrons.
